# Impact

During the maintenance and recovery, customers may experience the following:

- Running workflows and scheduled sessions delay and failure

The execution of running workflows and scheduled sessions will be delayed and automatically retried after the downtime period. However, there is a possibility that some workflows and sessions fail under certain situations.

- Workflow REST API will be unavailable

It won’t be possible to create or update Workflow Project, CDP Master Segments, Batch Segments, API Tokens, and Predictive Scoring during the downtime period.

# Impact

During the maintenance and recovery, customers may experience the following:

- Running workflows and scheduled sessions delay and failure

The execution of running workflows and scheduled sessions will be delayed and automatically retried after the downtime period. However, there is a possibility that some workflows and sessions fail under certain situations.

- Workflow REST API will be unavailable

It won’t be possible to create or update Workflow Project, CDP Master Segments, Batch Segments, API Tokens, and Predictive Scoring during the downtime period.

Beyond this notice, we will provide updates at the start and completion of the operation, and once the verification of the new system is completed. At that time, all systems will have returned to full functionality and this Scheduled Maintenance will be closed.

On Friday, March 4th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM JST (March 4th from 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM UTC) we will be performing maintenance on the database underlying the Workflow component. This maintenance window is scheduled to perform essential maintenance on the underlying hardware. The Workflow REST API will be unavailable during the downtime to minimize the unexpected impact.

Although the maintenance operation duration is 30 minutes, the Workflow REST API will only become unreachable for an expected maximum of 10 minutes in total. We expect this to be followed by a recovery period of around 30 minutes during which the system will gradually return to full throughput.

We apologize for the shorter notice period than expected due to sudden underlying hardware maintenance and internal processes to prepare the maintenance. We will improve communication and internal processes to keep the expected notice period.

At that time, all systems will have returned to full functionality and the Scheduled Maintenance will be closed.
